Ordering & Shipping

How do I place an order?

Orders are placed directly through our Shopify website! Browse our menu, select your items, and checkout securely. We bake in small batches, so items are available for a limited time.

What do you ship vs. what's local only?

  • NATIONWIDE SHIPPING: Our signature cookies, brownies, and blondies are specially formulated to travel well and arrive perfectly.
  • ATLANTA LOCAL ONLY: Our pastries that do not travel well are available for local pickup/delivery only through our pop-up events.

How do you ensure my baked goods arrive fresh?

We use a proven room-temperature shipping method! We bake fresh, package in airtight containers with plenty of cushioning, and ship via 2-day air Monday-Wednesday only. This ensures your treats arrive fresh and intact without the complexity of frozen shipping.

Why only Monday-Wednesday shipping?

This prevents packages from sitting in warehouses over weekends, ensuring you receive the freshest possible products. It's a key part of our quality guarantee!

What about warm weather?

During warmer months, we recommend having someone available to receive your package. While our sturdy cookies and brownies travel well at room temperature, extreme heat can affect texture. We include storage and refreshing instructions with every order.

Our Products & Ingredients

What makes your baked goods different?

We bridge cultural tradition with baking science. We use artisan techniques like browning butter and the tangzhong method (for incredible softness) typically reserved for French pastry, but we apply them to beloved traditional flavors.

Do you offer gluten-free or dairy-free options?

Yes! We offer both Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free versions of most cookies, brownies, and blondies. Select your preference from the drop-down menu on the product page. Please note: All products are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, nuts, and other allergens.

Why do you use sourdough in some items?

As an anti-store-bought-yeast establishment, we use live sourdough starter for superior flavor and digestibility. The slow fermentation breaks down gluten and phytic acid, which many customers with sensitivities appreciate.

How should I store and serve my order?

  • Shipped Items: For optimal freshness, enjoy within 5 days of receipt. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. They freeze beautifully for up to 3 months! Follow the included reheating instructions for that just-baked experience.
  • Local Items: Best enjoyed day-of purchase.

Pricing Tiers

Do I get a different product at different tiers?

No, all tiers receive the same high-quality brownie. Your choice supports our social mission and helps make our treats accessible to everyone.

Which tier should I choose?

Choose the tier that feels right for your budget and values. Sustainer covers our costs, Pay-It-Forward helps others, and Community/Supported make our treats more accessible.

Do you accept barter or trade?

Absolutely! We happily consider barter and collaborative exchanges on a case-by-case basis.

We believe in the power of community and the unique value that everyone brings to the table. While we can't guarantee every proposal, we are always open to a creative conversation.

What kind of barter are we open to?
We love trading with fellow entrepreneurs and service providers. This could include, but isn't limited to:

  • Professional Services: Photography, marketing, graphic design, or web development.
  • Skilled Trades: Carpentry, floral design, or other crafts that support our small business.
  • Mutual Collaboration: Partnering on a pop-up event, workshop, or a special product.

How does it work?
If you have a proposal, please reach out to us at [hello@drebsbakehouse.com] or through the website contact form with the subject line "Collaboration Idea." Tell us a bit about yourself and what you have in mind!

We're excited to explore how we can support each other and create something wonderful together.
